Another High School Football Death in Bergen County

Cliffside Park, N.J. (AP) -- Police say a Cliffside Park High School football player has died from injuries sustained in practice.
Police Capt. Anthony Frato said Douglas Morales died Tuesday night at Holy Name Hospital in Teaneck.
The 17-year-old was rushed to the hospital from practice on Friday. Frato says he doesn't know how Morales was injured.
Morales' death came only a day after a Waldwick boy died during football practice on his 13th birthday. |
