Jon Bon Jovi to Give Free Concert in Central Park

NEW YORK (AP) -- Bon Jovi is playing at a free concert in Central Park this summer.

The concert will be held July 12.
It's billed as a prelude to the July 15 All-Star baseball game, which will highlight the final season at Yankee Stadium. The current Yankee Stadium is being replaced.
Mayor Michael Bloomberg says Bon Jovi will help ensure it goes out in a blaze of glory, hopefully a blaze in late October.
Tickets for the concert will be distributed beginning Wednesday at baseball parks and events throughout the city.
