IRVINGTON, NJ (AP) -- A shooting in Irvington has left three people wounded, including a mother and her 3-year-old daughter.
Their injuries were not considered life-threatening.
Police say the 32-year-old mother and her child were sitting on their front porch when they were hit by gunfire around 9:10 p.m. Also hit was a 57-year-old man who was walking by.
The shooting happened near the intersection of 21st Street and 17th Avenue.
Authorities say the girl was hit in her right knee, the mother had a facial graze wound and the man was hit in the thigh. All were taken to University Hospital in Newark.
