I was truly overjoyed to join WCBS at the beginning of the year 2006. In addition to working as a producer for the Yankees broadcasts on 880, I get to work with an amazing group of reporters, anchors, writers, producers and managers. I really love my job because ever since I spent a year off from college doing temp work, I realized what I wanted to do. I wanted to work in a field where there is always action, where every day would bring about something new, and where I didn't have to act like a corporate stiff. In that respect, WCBS has it all. The newsroom is buzzing with interesting stories and no day is ever the same here in the greatest city in the world. The best thing about working at WCBS is that I get to be myself. Since most of my interests and influences haven't been en vogue for a quarter century, it truly is a pleasure to who allow me to be completely out of touch with my generation.
