NEW YORK (WCBS 880) -- It's almost that time of year again!
There's a glittering pink castle sharing space with a 10-foot turkey and Papa Smurf's mushroom home.
Macy's John Piper says it's part of a Smurf Celebration.
"This is the 50th Anniversary of the Smurfs," said Piper.
WCBS Reporter Marla Diamond was at the Macy's Parade Studio in Hoboken, NJ.
"Oh! I feel so old because I still remember that theme song..."said Diamond.
"You're smurfalicious!" said Piper.
Horton the Elephant and Buzz Lightyear join the Smurf balloon this year, along with old favorites like Kermit the Frog, Snoopy and Spongebob Squarepants.
