URUMQI, China (AP) -- A Chinese Islamic group that's threatened to attack the Beijing Olympics has released a new video.
The SITE Intelligence Group which monitors militant organizations says the video warns Muslims to avoid being on planes, trains and buses with Chinese during the games.
The video was purportedly made by the Turkistan Islamic Party, which seeks independence for a region in western China.
The militants are believed to be based in Pakistan, where security experts say core members have received training from al-Qaida.
Last month, the group issued videotaped threats and claimed responsibility for a series of bus bombings in China.
Another monitoring group IntelCenter says the threat is credible and should be taken seriously.
