My fascination with radio and news began at an early age. I remember that I used to come home from kindergarten every day and turn on the radio to listen to doo wop music, when one day the announcer broke in to say that President Kennedy had been shot. I ran into the next room to tell my mother the news. You might say that was my first news report.  When I got to Columbia University 13 years later, the first place I went was the radio station. I have been broadcasting on the radio or TV ever since.

I have been working at WCBS since 2004, but the station been a part of my life for much longer. As a loyal listener for decades, the station's rhythms and cadences are etched in my mind. It's such a thrill for me to work here.

Read my bio on the welcome page of my "Greek News Blog" here.

I am planning to start some other blogs soon. Stay tuned and thanks for listening.
