NEW YORK (WCBS 880 / AP) -- Due to an earlier incident with two Long Island Rail Road trains colliding, there are many delays and changes to evening rush trains.

LIRR customers should anticipate eastbound delays of up to 30 minutes during this evening's rush hour because of the earlier derailment at Jamaica Station.
Buses are replacing eastbound train service between Jamaica and St. Albans.
The following trains are canceled/combined today:
The 4:12 PM from Penn Station to Massapequa Park has been canceled. Customers will be accommodated on the 4:21 PM train to Freeport with added stops to Massapequa Park.
The 4:34 PM from Penn Station to Babylon has been canceled. Customers will be accommodated on the 4:37 PM train to Wantagh with added stops to Babylon.
The 4:57 PM from Penn Station to Wantagh has been canceled. Customers will be accommodated on the 5:03 PM train to Freeport with added stops to Wantagh.
The 5:40 PM from Penn Station to Seaford has been canceled. Customers will be accommodated on the 5:47 PM train to Freeport with added stops to Seaford.
The 6:05 PM from Penn Station to Wantagh has been canceled. Customers will be accommodated on the 6:10 PM train to Freeport with added stops to Wantagh.
The 6:33 PM from Penn Station to Babylon has been canceled. Customers will be accommodated on the 6:36 PM train to Wantagh with added stops to Babylon. Mar-27-2008 03:24:37PM

Two Long Island Rail Road trains bumped each other at Jamaica Station causing one train to derail and tying up eastbound service. Service is running, but with delays of 20 minutes.
The railroad says the accident at 10 a.m. Thursday involved the 9:35 a.m. from Flatbush Avenue, Brooklyn due in Hempstead. It jumped the tracks when it bumped a train alongside it, the 9:34 a.m. from Penn Station to Huntington.
All eastbound service, which was suspended, was restored at 10:56 a.m.
The New York City fire department spokesman Chris Villarroel said it was a ``minor low impact collision'' between two LIRR trains.
The LIRR said no one was injured. Villarroel said passengers were checked at the platform as they got off the train.
The New York City fire department had said this may have caused as many as 20 minor injuries.
New York City Transit is honoring LIRR ticket holders at the following stations: Atlantic Avenue-Pacific Street, 34th Street-Penn Station, and Sutphin Boulevard-Archer Avenue.
