NEW YORK (WCBS 880) -- If you ride the buses or subways, brace yourself for big cuts from the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA).
LISTEN: Doomsday Budget Means the End of the Line 
Two subway lines - the W and the Z - will be eliminated, the New York Daily News reported. The J train will no longer run express. Several other lines will also have their service scaled back.
Many bus lines will be eliminated.
Up to 1,500 people could lose their jobs.
