Manager Accused of Stealing from Marc Jacobs Store
NEW YORK (AP) -- A Marc Jacobs manager faces charges that he stole $62,000 from one of the company's celebrity-magnet stores in lower Manhattan.
The Manhattan district attorney's office said Thursday that 24-year-old Kyle Avila is charged with grand larceny for alleged thefts that occurred over a period of time at the West Village store.
Reported celeb sightings at the pricey boutique include Dakota Fanning and Winona Ryder.
Avila's attorney and a Marc Jacobs corporate representative did not immediately return calls for comment.
