I joined WCBS as an afternoon anchor in late October 2005. It took me 15 years, and several Ryder truck rentals to get here. Previously, I'd been host of "The Wall Street Journal This Morning," a syndicated show carried by nearly 100 radio stations nationwide. We had a wide arrary of guests. In one show we'd talk to the CEO of Starbucks, then Donald Trump, then Brett Favre about the restaurants he owns, and how he juggles that with his football career. It was a lot of fun.
Before joining the Wall Street Journal's radio network, I was the afternoon anchor and managing editor at WDBO in Orlando. Those were a busy few years, covering hurricanes, wildfires, and tornadoes. Prior to that, I was an anchor and reporter at KTRH in Houston. Great experience, and great food. In my early days, I worked long hours for very little pay in the Upstate New York towns of Cortland and Watertown.
I graduated from Ithaca College with a B.S. degree in communications. My current home is the nice and quiet Northern New Jersey town of West Milford, New Jersey. It's a few nice folks, sharing some mountains with deer and bear. I live there with my wife, Lori, and my two young sons, Nicholas and Declan.
