United States Attorney Christopher Christie Resigning

NEW YORK (WCBS 880) -- Christopher Christie, the United States Attorney for New Jersey, is resigning.

His resignation is effective December 1, 2008.

Christie is widely viewed to be a likely contender for the Republican gubernatorial nomination in 2009.
