NEW YORK (AP/WCBS 880) -- UPDATE (2:06p)Amtrak has resumed power for NJ Transit and trains are on the move on the Northeast Corridor. Residual delays are expected but should be back to normal by 3pm
Amtrak electricity problems are causing delays for some NJ Transit trains.
All Northeast Corridor, Midtown Direct and North Jersey Coast Line trains are running on 60-90 minute delays according to WCBS 880 Traffic.
PATH is cross-honoring tickets for passengers boarding at Newark Penn Station and Hoboken Terminal.
NJ Transit says Amtrak is working on the low-voltage problem. There are currently no Amtrak trains coming into New York's Penn Station, and no service between New York and Philadelphia.
Starting at 12:25p, trains pulled into the nearest station and are being held at stations on the affected lines.
NJ Transit Dan Stessel says the problem should be cleared up by 2pm and the evening rush commute is expected to be normal.
