NY Offering Giants Championship License Plates

ALBANY, NY (AP) -- Even the DMV is celebrating.
The state is now issuing custom license plates commemorating the Giants Super Bowl win over New England.
The new plates feature the New York Giants' big blue NY logo with the words ``Super Bowl Champions 42'' underneath the official Super Bowl colors of red and blue.
The DMV has offered license plates with the New York Giants logo since 1993. The Super Bowl version will cost the same -- $43 dollars with an annual renewal fee of $25 dollars. For personalized plates, the cost is $68 dollars with a $50 annual renewal fee.
Those fees are in addition to the regular registration charges.
The plate can be ordered online at: nysdmv.com, or by calling the Custom Plates Office at: (518) 402-4838.
