Neil Chayet hosts the feature "Looking at the Law" on WCBS Newsradio 880 which airs at 5:43am, 4:53p, 8:53p, 12:52am on Saturdays and Sundays. The feature is designed to answer questions about law and life and provide legal answers as well as a common sense, practical approach to legal problems.
Chayet received his BA from Tufts University and graduated from Harvard Law School. He has worked on several high profile cases, including the Boston Strangler. He has also participated in many leading forensic medicine issues. He is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court and other high courts in Massachusetts and the District of Columbia.
As president of Chayet Communications Group, Inc., which is Boston-based, Chayet maintains active legal and consulting practice in the area of health law. Chayet serves as special counsel to several law firms in Boston and Washington, D.C. Additionally, he serves on the faculty of Harvard Medical School and as an Adjunct Professor at Tufts. He is also a member of the Harvard Law School Council.
Chayet has been active in Massachusetts law and politics for most of his life. Presently he serves as Vice President of the Boston Republican Committee.
Chayet is a native of Brookline, Massachusetts. He lives in Manchester-by-the-Sea with his wife, Martha. He is the father of three children and has two grandchildren.
