NEW YORK (WCBS 880) -- "We are past conflict... It's a crisis," said Governor Paterson today at another news conference dealing with the Senate.

He sited due to broken deadlines, that he didnt think legislators should be paid.
Paterson ordered special sessions through the July 4th weekend but Alan Chartock, publisher of the Legislative Gazette doubts that will be incentive enough to stop the bickering.
"I do think these guys are in a state of denial," said Chartock.
He said minority republicans are desperate to hold onto power and in fighting within the democratic party has them hamstrung.
