Peeking Tom Insists He Didn't Misuse Cell Phone Camera

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (AP) -- A 21-year-old Newtown man has been given a special form of probation for allegedly using his cell phone camera to snap photos of a naked girl in a tanning booth.
Sean Gordon was charged with disorderly conduct and voyeurism last August.
A teenage girl who was in a tanning room at Planet Fitness in Trumbull told police that she looked up and saw a hand holding a flip-style camera phone through ceiling tiles, pointed in her direction.
The charges will be erased from his record if Gordon doesn't get into trouble for two years, provides copies of his cell phone records and promises not to send the photos of the girl to anybody else.
Gordon says he did peek into the ceiling area [Connpost.com], but was using his phone as a light to look at some electrical work. |
