NEW YORK (WCBS 880)  -- Twice named "Best Columnist in America" by the Associates Press, Ian O'Connor is joining The Record of Bergen County, leaving his job with The Journal News and USA Today.

An occassional contributor to WCBS 880, O'connor spoke with Jared Max about the change of jobs. They also talked about Rutgers, the Knicks, the Nets and the news of Yankees great Bobby Murcer having surgery to remove a brain tumor.
