Triple Play Official Contest Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

1. HOW TO ENTER

a) The Triple Play contest (the “Contest”) will begin on Monday, March 31, 2008 at12:00pm Eastern Time (“ET”) and end on Friday, October 31, 2008 at 6:00pm ET or the date on which a grand prize, if any, is awarded or the date on which the Yankees post-season ends, whichever is earliest (the “Contest Period”).

b) To participate in the Contest, you may enter by logging on to the WCBS(AM) (the “Station”) website at www.wcbs880.com. Follow the links and instructions to enter and submit your first name and last name, complete address, city, state, zip code, telephone number, date of birth, and a valid email address in the online entry form. Only one internet entry per person and one internet entry per email address is permitted. Internet entries will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry. The authorized account holder is the natural person who is assigned to the email address by an internet access provider, online service provider or other organization that is responsible by assigning email address or the domain associated with the submitted email address. Multiple participants are not permitted to share the same email address. All entries submitted become the sole property of the Station and will not be acknowledged or returned. Use of any device to automate entry is prohibited. Proof of submission of an entry shall not be deemed proof of receipt by Station. Station’s computer is the official time keeping device for the sweepstakes. Once you have submitted an entry, you will be eligible for all drawings throughout the Contest Period. However, the earlier you enter, the more opportunities you will have to be selected.

c) The Station is not responsible for entries not received due to difficulty accessing the internet, service outage or delays, computer difficulties or other technological glitches.

d) Only one entry per person per email address.

2. ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS

a) The contest is open to all Station listeners who are 18 years of age or older and who legally reside in Greater New York Metropolitan area. Employees the Station, its licensee, its corporate parents, subsidiaries, and affiliates, its advertising agencies, participating sponsors/promotional partners, other radio stations in the greater New York metropolitan area and the members of their immediate families/households are ineligible to participate or win.

b) Only one winner per household is permitted in any Station contest.

c) Entrants are required to provide truthful information and the Station will reject and delete any entry that it discovers to be false or fraudulent. The Station will disqualify any entry from individuals who do not meet the eligibility requirements, and the Station will also delete any entry received from persons under the age of 13 in compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act.

3. PRIZES

a) A maximum of one (1) prize may be awarded. The winner, if any, will receive $10,000 and a Free Triple Play from Time Warner Cable for one (1) full year, which includes cable tv, internet and phone service. Service includes access to 130+ channels, cable box and remote on one television set and home phone with unlimited calling in the US and Puerto Rico. Triple Play is valued at $1,800. Winner will be responsible for any costs associated with any upgrades. Winner will be subject to any user/subcriber terms and conditions set forth by Time Warner.

b) All prizes or prize certificates may be picked up at the office of the Station at the address below. The winner will forfeit any prize or prize certificate not claimed within forty-five (45) days of winning. In the event that a prize or prize certificate is mailed to the winner, it will be with the prior written consent of the winner and therefore, winner assumes the risk of its loss. The Station is not responsible for the safe arrival of a prize or prize certificate.

c) If the winner does not live in an area where Time Warner Cable service is available, and only if service is not available, the Triple Play portion of the prize will be substituted for $1,800 cash. There is no substitution or transfer for prizes, except that Sponsor may, at its sole discretion, substitute prizes of comparable value or cash. The prizes are expressly limited to the item(s) listed above and do not include taxes, gratuities or any other expenses. Other restrictions may apply.

4. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION

a) Decisions of the Station management with respect to the Contest are final.

b) Prior to each 2008 Yankees home game that takes place during the Contest Period, one (1) contestant will be chosen at random from among all entries received up to that point (the “Contestant”). The Contestant’s name will be announced at the bottom of the second inning of that day’s game. If a double header occurs, a new Contestant will be selected for each game on that particular day.

c) If the away team hits into a triple play during the the third inning, the Contestant selected for that game will win the Grand Prize. If the away team never hits into a trip play during the third inning, a prize will not be awarded. If the away team does hits into a triple play during the third inning, the prize will be awarded as described and the Contest will end.

d) Winner does not need to be present/ listening to win. They will be notified by the Stations Operations Manager of Yankees Radio Network/WCBS 880.

e) Winners must execute and return any required Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability Prize Acceptance Form within ten (10) days of notification attempt or prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be chosen from a random drawing of all remaining eligible entries.

5. CONDITIONS

a) Payments of all federal, state and local taxes are solely the responsibility of the winner. The winner, if any, will be required to sign an IRS Form W-9 or the equivalent.

b) By participating in the Contest, the winner, if any, agrees to have his or her name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this Contest without additional financial or other compensation, and, where legal, to sign a publicity release confirming such consent prior to acceptance of the prize.

c) Prior to awarding any prize or prize certificate, the Station in its sole discretion may require Contest winners (and their travel companions, if any) to sign a liability release, agreeing to hold the Station, its corporate licensee, its parent, subsidiary and affiliated corporations, and the officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in the Contest.

d) The Station, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process, the operation of the Station’s Web Site or is otherwise in violation of the rules. It further reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify the Contest if it is not capable of completion as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention or technical failures of any sort.

e) The Station reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the Contest, including the substitution of a prize or equivalent value, which will become effective upon announcement.

f) Failure to comply with the Contest rules may result in a entrant’s disqualification solely at the discretion of the Station.

g) The Station is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the Contest, or in the announcement of a prize.

h) Copies of the written Contest rules and a list of winners (when complete) are available during regular business hours at the main studio of the Station, 524 W. 57th St., New York, NY 10019.

6. INTERNET SWEEPSTAKES PRIVACY POLICY

a) By use of this website and by entering the Contest, you agree to the Station’s Web Site Terms of Use Agreement and to the use of your personal information as described in the Privacy Policy located at: www.wcbs880.com.
