Severe Thunderstorm Warning in Brooklyn, Queens

NEW YORK (AP) -- Brooklyn and southeastern Queens residents are being warned to watch out for major thunderstorms headed their way overnight.
The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning until 12:45 a.m. tomorrow. The agency says winds could top 60 mph.
The weather service says the storms will race through the area, reaching the Flatbush and Crown Heights neighborhoods in Brooklyn within minutes. The agency says the storms Jamaica should get to Jamaica and John F. Kennedy Airport in eastern Queens by 12:15 a.m.
