WCBS/NEW JERSEY LOTTERY “TICKET GIVEAWAY”
CONTEST RULES

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

1. How to Enter the Contest:

a) The WCBS/New Jersey Lottery “Ticket Giveaway” contest will begin on October 1, 2007 at 6:00am running through October 31, 2007 at 11:59:59pm.

b) To participate in the contest, listeners must register at the WCBS website at www.wcbs880.com. Once there, they must completely fill out an entry blank. Station is not responsible for entries not received due to difficulty accessing the Internet, service outages or delays, computer difficulties or other technological glitches. All entries must be received by October 31, 2007 at 11:59:59pm. For purposes of these Official Rules, “receipt” of any on-line entry will be solely determined when the contest Administrator’s website server records the entry data. Any automated computer form reply or receipt (such as one confirming delivery of email) does not constitute actual receipt by Administrator of an entry form for purposes of these Official Rules.

c) One entry per person, per household.

2. Eligibility Restrictions:

a) The contest is open to all WCBS listeners who are 18 years of age or older and who reside in the New York, New Jersey and Connecticut Metro area. Employees of WCBS, its licensee, its corporate parents, subsidiaries and affiliates, New Jersey Lottery, their advertising agencies, participating sponsors/promotional partners, other radio stations in the New York metropolitan area and the members of their immediate families are ineligible to participate or win.

b) Listeners are eligible to win a WCBS contest only once every sixty days and a prize valued at $600 or more only once every six months. Only one winner per household is permitted in any contest.

c) To enter on-line you must register at the WCBS website, www.wcbs880.com. Registrants must fill out an entry blank that includes their first name, last name, complete address, city, state, zip code, day and evening phone numbers and a valid e-mail address. One Internet entry per person and one Internet entry per e-mail address. Internet entries will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry. The authorized account holder is the natural person who is assigned to the e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider, or other organization that is responsible by assigning e-mail addresses or the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.

d) Participants are required to provide truthful information and WCBS will reject and delete any entry it discovers to be false or fraudulent. WCBS will also disqualify any entry received from persons under the minimum age requirement specified for this contest and will also delete the entries received from any person under the age of 13 in compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act.

3. Prizes:

a) Two (2) Prizewinners will be chosen at random from the pool of entrants. Each will receive approximately sixty-seven NJ lottery scratch- off tickets valued from $1 to $2 each. Each Grand Prize is valued at $124.00. Prize is comprised of lottery tickets only. Additional taxes on any winnings are the sole responsibility of the winner(s) and will be handled by the NJ lottery when the winner cashes in his/her winnings.

b) All prizes or prize certificates may be picked up at the office of WCBS, 524 W 57th Street, New York, NY 10019. Any prize or prize certificate not claimed within forty-five days of winning will be forfeited by the winner. In the event that a prize or prize certificate is mailed to the winner, it will be with the prior written consent of the winner and therefore, winner assumes the risk of its loss. WCBS is not responsible for the safe arrival of a prize or prize certificate.

c) Contest prizes are not transferable. Prizes may not be substituted for or redeemed for cash, except that Sponsor may, at its sole discretion, substitute prizes of comparable value or cash. The prizes are expressly limited to the item(s) listed above and do not include taxes, gratuities or any other expenses. Other restrictions may apply.

4. Selection of Winners:

a) Decisions of station management with respect to the contest are final.

b) Two (2) winners will be randomly selected from the pool of eligible entrants on or around November 5  2007 .

c) Winner(s) need not listen/or be present to win. Winners will be notified by phone and mail. If the winner(s) cannot be contacted within seven (7) days after the prize is awarded, an alternate winner will be randomly selected from the remaining entries.

d) Odds of winning depend on number of entries received.

5. Conditions:
a) Payment of all federal, state and local taxes is the sole responsibility of the winner. Winners may be required to sign an IRS Form W-9 or the equivalent.

b) By participating in the contest, the winner or winners (and their guest, if any) agree to have their name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest without additional financial or other compensation, and, where legal, to sign a publicity release confirming such consent prior to acceptance of the prize.

c) Prior to awarding any prize or prize certificate, WCBS in its sole discretion may require contest winners (and their travel companions, if any) to sign a liability release agreeing to hold New Jersey Lottery, WCBS, its corporate licensee, its parent, subsidiary and affiliated corporations and the officers, shareholders, directors, employee, agents and representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in the contest.

d) WCBS, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process, the operation of the WCBS Web Site or who is otherwise in violation of the rules. The station further reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify the contest if it is not capable of completion as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention or technical failures of any sort.

e) WCBS reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the contest including the substitution of a prize or prizes of equivalent value, which will become effective upon announcement

f) Failure to comply with the contest rules may result in a contestant’s disqualification, at the sole discretion of WCBS.

g) WCBS is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the contest or in the announcement of a prize.

h) Copies of the written contest rules and a list of all winners (when complete) are available during regular business hours at the main studio of WCBS, 524 W 57th Street, New York, NY 10019 or by sending a self-addressed stamped envelope to WCBS.

INTERNET SWEEPSTAKES PRIVACY POLICY

a) By use of this website and by entering the Contest, you agree to WCBS Web Site Terms of Use Agreement and to the use of your personal information as described in the Privacy Policy located at www.wcbs880.com.
