Forgive me New Yorkers, but I grew up in Miami, FL. I was that girl in grade school who all the boys came to for sports stats and scores. I went to every University of Miami football game from 1984-1994, and bellowed at the players from the stands. In fact, I bellowed so much so that a few came over and told me that if I kept screaming I would lose my vocal chords, clearly THAT didn't happen! :-)
I was the PA announcer for my high school basketball and football teams as my formal career as a bellower began. I came to my senses and headed north for college, and attended Syracuse University - and believe it or not, left with a degree in Broadcast Journalism.
I worked in TV and production for a number of years post graduation until I found my calling in radio in 2006. I worked for Sportstalk 790-The Ticket in Miami, followed by 710 ESPN in Los Angeles, before once again coming to my senses...do you get the theme here?...and realized there was one place I wanted to be; the GREATEST city in the world...NYC. So here I am, ready to BELLOW all over the WCBS airwaves!
