NEW YORK (AP) -- A convicted drug dealer is charged with drug possession after police found 51 bags of crack cocaine in his underpants.
The Staten Island district attorney's office said Anthony Maniscalco was arrested Wednesday after police pulled him over for several traffic violations. After patting him down, they discovered the drugs.
He was arraigned in Staten Island Criminal Court on a criminal possession of a controlled substance charge. He faces up to 25 years in prison, and was ordered held without bail.
Maniscalco was paroled in September after serving 18 months for criminal sale of a controlled substance.
The name of his lawyer could not immediately be determined.
