Pink Bats an MLB Hit; You Can Own One, Too

Raising awareness of breast cancer, Major League Baseball made Mothers Day special for a third straight year. Players around the league used pink bats and wore various forms of pink gear. The aim is to raise much-needed money for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure foundation.

Major League Baseball is offering fans the chance to bid on pink bats which were signed by players including Derek Jeter, Alex Rodriguez and Mariano Rivera.

This is a "rolling auction", which means more items will be added over the next few days and weeks. You will be able to bid on autographed game-used bats, signed home plates and bases, which include the pink-ribbon logo.
