| Giant pandas from the quake-hit area during the first day of the public display June 5, 2008 in Beijing, China. The eight giant pandas from the Wolong Giant Panda Reserve, some 32km from the epicenter of the deadly earthquake in Sichuan Province, were transported to Beijing by a special plane on May 24 and will spend the next six months at the zoo on a special Olympics visit.
