Do you have a minute?  Turn up your radio and let me tell you a story!  It's a simple thing, really.  Humans have been doing it for thousands of years, around campfires, on paper, through the magic of electromagnetic waves and vacuum tubes, and now across the boundless expanse of cyberspace. Technology has shrunk our planet, allowing more of us to talk with one another, but no matter how sophisticated the communication device, the essence of storytelling remains the same.  I consider it an honor to be your storyteller, to be your eyes and ears on the street, and I aim to transport you to the action.

My own story starts in New Jersey. I was born in Paterson and raised in Jersey City.  After interning at WCBS 880, I graduated from New York University in 1995 and went to work at WRKL radio in Rockland County.  I moved on to Associated Press Radio and NBC Mutual in New York City before returning to WCBS.

Every morning as I sit in my car and write my script, I remind myself of one thing- my job is to tell you a story, a clear, concise, accurate story.

Whether you're listening to your radio or your computer, we're really still just sitting around that old campfire.
