| Royal Air Force (RAF) aircraft fly over RAF Fairford on July 11, 2008 in Fairford, Gloucestershire, England. Ninety aircraft flew in formation over RAF Fairford as HM Queen Elizabeth II presented new Colours to the Royal Air Force and the RAF Regiment aspart of the 90th anniversary celebrations of the formation of the RAF in 1918. This is the largest ceremony of its kind since the Queen's Silver Jubilee in 1977. |
