| A figure from Antony Gormley's 'Another Place' welcomes one of the Tall Ship to Merseyside as it sails past the Burbo Bank windfarm on the approach to the Port of Liverpool on July 18, 2008, Liverpool, England. As the European City of Culture, Liverpool is hosting part of the Tall Ships racing festival over the weekend. Up to 100 sailing ships will be on display to the public before the race to Norway begins on monday. Event organisers are expecting crowds of up to one million people. |
