NEW YORK (WCBS 880) -- Mark Spitz was all smiles as he held up the cover of Michael Phelps draped with eight medals.
Phelps broke Spitz's 36 year record during the Beijing Olympics, but to WCBS Reporter Marla Diamond he seemed ok with it.
"I knew it was going to happen someday, especially four years ago when Phelps came so close," said Spitz.
