NeW YORK (WCBS) -- The east village has always been cool, and PDT is making it just a little bit cooler. Only in New york could you have a bar that you enter through a secret phone booth...it makes you feel a bit like James Bond. Especially when you get inside for an ice cold martini.
I'm attracted to the offbeat and the un-obvious, and PDT (which stands for Please Don't Tell) seems to satisfy that particular urge--everyone there seems to know the fact that they are even there says something. This is not a place that your average bridge and tunnel-er can just stumble into. That said, spread the word, but not too far--lets keep PDT a place for those in the know.
