NEW YORK (WCBS) -- Chinatown is the new hotspot for nightlife in manhattan, particularly if you like your bars secret, funky, and eco-friendly. Beast is beneath a mostly veggie restaurant called Broadway East and find your way down the back stairs.
With it's wall of rotating video and subtarranean gallery-like setting, It's definately "artsy"--no pool or darts here. But Chinatown is quickly becoming a haven for interesting bars, and this is one BEast that is certainly not a burden (open thurs. through sun. only).
