Campbell Scott is an Athiest

Slewis@wcbs880.com

NEW YORK (WCBS)  -- Last night I had the pleasure of seeing Campbell Scott in the Atheist, a funny and dynamic new play at the Barrow Street Theatre in the west village, about a crooked reporter who will do almost anything to get a front page story. The play is raw and extremely honest, and delves into uncharted territories regarding morality and sex.

We dined at Centro across the street before, which serves delicious tapas and frothy Cosmos.

This is a play that really makes you think, acted brilliantly by one of my favorite (and in my opinion underrated) actors. It's only on through January 4th, so get your tickets here.

Fun fact: Campbell Scott directed the classic Stanley Tucci film called Big Night.
