WCBS-AM offers an opportunity for students to apply classroom concepts to practical work experience. Our internship program allows students to experience firsthand the reality of working in the radio broadcasting industry. Interns can test their creative talent, exercise their analytical skills and increase their understanding of broadcasting operations and trends. Internships are available during the Fall (September-December), Spring (January-May) and Summer (June –mid August), and are required at least 16 hours per week, with specific days and times agreed upon in advance. All interns must be enrolled in a College or University and receiving college credit. Students are expected to obtain and complete any forms necessary to receive credit for the internship experience. CBS Radio New York is making a big investment in our digital properties and this would be a great opportunity to make a real difference in the future of the Company.
New Media Content - Responsibilites will include creating content for our sites through blogs and podcasts, research hot topics, interacting with station news rooms, sports desks and/or music stations.
