neW YORK (wCBS) -- There is nothing more romantic than taking a date to a yummy fondu restaurant. As long as you don't spend an hour with a drop of cheese on your chin. La Cave Des Fondus (please let me have pronounced it right on air) is underneath the famed Jaques restaurant in Soho, and well worth it.
If you're in the mood for a casual, fun date, look no further. There is not a whole lot on the menu--it's basically beef, cheese, and chocolate, but whose complaining? The wine is served in baby bottles, which at first is a little weird, but in the long run it just adds to the charm of the place. Think: chalkboard menus, laughter, and lots of dipping.
