Five Men Arrested in Connection with L.I. Car Burglaries

ROSLYN, N.Y. (AP) -- Nassau County police have arrested five men on more than 175 charges including grand larceny and criminal mischief in connection to car burglaries in five Long Island towns.
Authorities said cars were broken into on Saturday in Roslyn, Flower Hill, Manhasset, Port Washington and Sands Point. An officer saw the men in a car on the Long Island Expressway and stopped them.
Police said a number of items were recovered, including cell phones, iPods, and navigation devices.
