NEW YORK (WCBS 880) -- There were no serious injuries - just some bumps and bruises, according to the New York City Police Department.

A car accident on 7th Avenue near 50th Street spilled on to the sidewalk. One of the vehicles jumped the curb right underneath the "Mamma Mia!" marquee at the back entrance of the Winter Garden Theatre.
People scattered. Six of them suffered minor injuries. Two people in the vehicle also suffered the same.
Police say no charges will be filed.
The SUV's driver, Laura Conti, told reporters the accident happened when she tried to avoid hitting a taxi cab and instead struck a parked car. Both vehicles jumped the curb.
This incident was connected to the Nicolas Cage film "The Sorcerer's Apprentice."
It is the second incident this week in the area involving the film. Early Mondaty morning, a stunt driver involved in the film crashed into a Times Square restaurant.
