Chelsen needs a bone marrow transplant. He retired from the job a few years ago after being diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma - a vicious, incurable cancer.
Now, firefighters are mounting an all-out media blitz to find a donor.
Their quest has gone viral. Their appeal is on Facebook.
Earlier this year, a match was found, but the person was unable to go through the procedure.
