July 4, 2009 Macy's New York City Fireworks Directions and Road Closures

NEW YORK (WCBS 880) -- Unlike years past, the Macy's July 4th fireworks will be launched from barges on the Hudson River instead of the East River. The show should start around 9pm. Here is information you'll need to see them.

In NYC:
Road Construction Embargo
Henry Hudson Parkway Closure

In NJ:
NJ Transit Info
Weehawken Road Closures
Edgewater Road Closures
River Road will close at the North Bergen border, likely between 4 and 6 pm.
