HOBOKEN, NJ (AP) -- Authorities say a garbage truck struck a light rail train carrying about 20 passengers in northern New Jersey Thursday.
There are no reports of serious injuries.
NJ Transit spokesman Joe Dee says a garbage truck ran a red light and struck the light rail train at New York Avenue in Hoboken around 6:30 a.m.
Dee says there was minor damage.
The Hudson-Bergen Light Rail train was headed from Bayonne to North Bergen.
There were slight delays and the line was back on schedule by 7:20 a.m.
