Infamous "Tagger" Sentenced to 6 Months for Vandalizing Subway Cars

NEW YORK (AP)  -- A woman accused of tagging her way through Europe has been sentenced to six months in jail for spray painting Queens subway cars over a three year period.

Queens prosecutors on Thursday say 27-year-old Danielle Bremner, of Queens, was also ordered to pay $10,000 to the Metropolitan Transportation Agency.

Bremner had pleaded guilty in June to criminal mischief. The Queens sentence covers pending cases in Brooklyn, the Bronx and Manhattan.

Prosecutors say she spray-painted her tags ``Erin'' or ``Dani'' on at least six subway cars, causing more than $6,000 in damage.

Her lawyer, Paul Horowitz, says his client is happy that it's behind her and that she's looking forward to school.

Authorities say Bremner and her boyfriend wrote graffiti on train cars across Europe last summer, including in London, Paris and Madrid.
