Survey Says New Jersey Has Cheapest Gas in America

NEW YORK (WCBS 880) -- According to the AAA Daily Fuel Guage Report, which is updated every business day, New Jersey has the lowest gas prices in the United States.

The average prices (per gallon) are $2.950 for regular, $3.163 for mid-grade, $3.283 for premium, and $2.767 for diesel.
Not only is the price of regular gasoline in New Jersey the lowest in the nation, it is also the only state where the price is below $3.00 per gallon.
The highest average price for regular can be found in the Land of Lincoln - Illinois.
