Teenagers Videotape Fight and Post It to YouTube

The fight, authorities say, was over a video game controller.

LISTEN: Sophia Hall reports from Long Island

Police say, at the Massapequa Preserve on Long Island, a group of teenagers got out a camcorder and videotaped 17-year old Ryan Cody beating up a 16-year old boy. Then they put that video on YouTube.

Nassau County Police Sgt. Anthony Repalone says, "We have a 17-year old who is being charged with a felony assault. You have a 16-year-old victim who had severe injuries to his face, recquiring additional surgery. The fact that they videotaped this and put it on for entertainment is disheartening, to say the least."

Repalone says Cody was mad at the victim after he accused the victim of either borrowing or stealing his video game controller.
