What Should The Yankees vs. Phillies World Series Be Called?
NEW YORK (WCBS 880) -- Starting on Wednesday, October 28, 2009, the American League's New York Yankees will take on the National League's Philadelphia Phillies in the World Series.
The Yankees play at Yankee Stadium in Bronx, NY and the Phillies play at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia, PA. The two are simply an Amtrak ride or New Jersey Turnpike drive away from each other.

The Yankees are playing the Phillies in the World Series. When the Yankees play the Mets, we call it a Subway Series. What should we call this series?
