NEW YORK (WCBS 880) -- There's good news for the annual Greenwich Village Halloween Parade.
It won't be scaled down as much as was feared. A dozen floats are now being prepared and though they'd like to have 20, the number is up from 7 earlier this week.

Though, to hear it along the parade route, 6th Avenue from Canal to 21st Street, the neighborhood has a whole love/hate thing going on.
"I'm against all parades. People think that they can get away with anything when they're in a big group of people, " said one man.
A woman said, "It's fun, but, you know, you do it a couple of times and that's enough."
