Hartford Police Identify Dead Pedestrian
|
HARTFORD, CT (AP) -- Hartford police have identified a teenager struck and killed by an out-of-control car, and they've arrested another teen who they say was behind the wheel.
Authorities say 16-year-old Anthony Morales died Sunday night after being struck by a car that ran a red light, hit an SUV and spun into Morales and another city boy. Police say 16-year-old Travis Seabourne suffered serious injuries but is hospitalized in stable condition.
Police say the 17-year-old boy who drove the car is charged with manslaughter, evading an accident with death, driving without a license, operating an unregistered motor vehicle and other crimes. His name wasn't released because of his age.
Authorities say the driver has non life-threatening injuries.
