Woman Killed in Upper West Side Fire

NEW YORK (AP) -- Officials say a fire in an apartment building on Manhattan's Upper West Side claimed the life of a 48-year-old woman.
Police say Christina Cuardarado was pronounced dead at the scene on the third floor.
Sixty firefighters battled the blaze, which broke out in a third floor apartment on West 104th Street just before 6 p.m. Wednesday.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
