The school is one of 60 organizations from across the country asked to decorate holiday ornaments for the White House Christmas tree.
This year's theme is American landmarks.
Ten seventh- and eighth-graders are carefully putting images of the state Capitol in Trenton, downtown Newark, the Statue of Liberty on the ornaments.
The groups decorating the ornaments range from school arts programs like the one in Newark to a chapter of Future Farmers of America.
