Field tests were negative for Anthrax. The powder has been sent to the health department for further examination.
Envelopes with this suspicious powder caused alarm and panic overnight at the French and Austrian missions as the Uzbekistani consulate.
Dozens of people were decontaminated.
The police say at least one of the envelopes had a letter that referenced Al-Qaida. The envelopes were mailed from Dallas.
The FBI and NYPD are on the case.
