New York (WCBS) -- The women's project is a stellar theatre company dedicated to producing female writers, and OR is a play about one of the world's pioneering women writers, Aphra Bene. Or, now extended through Dec 13, is a wonderful and amusing comedy about a fascinating woman. Aphra Bene was not only a spy and mistress to the king, but she was the first woman playwright who was sexually liberated and loved to smoke hookahs!
Maggie Siff from the hit TV series Madmen portrays Aphra with wild abandon and perfect comic timing. This is a comedy that will not only educate but amuse you to no end. check it out!
