Dr. Elizabette Cohen was born, raised and schooled in New York CityShe grew up in Forest Hills and received her B.A. Degree from Columbia University in 1983.
When she was three years old, Elizabette saw her dog hit by a car. He later returned home with a cast on his leg, and it was then that she decided to become a veterinarian.
Elizabette has been practicing high quality veterinary medicine and surgery in New York since 1988 when she received her D.V.M. from Cornell Veterinary School.
Outside of her work with animals, Elizabette is proud of running the 2002 New York City Marathon!
She credits her husband for his understanding and support, especially when emergency calls come into their home in the middle of the night. Elizabette also has two loving young children, who to nobody's surprise, are animal lovers, too. And the family pet is a black lab named Allie, who loves everybody.
